An epidemic is spreading across the country. Artists from Texas to Maine have been targeted by Nigerian scammers.
The most recent scam ostensibly comes from a supposed Michelle Campbell of Seattle. She requests price for several paintings, and then mails a check well in excess of the agreed amount.
This is your tip-off that you are about to be scammed. Please read this entire blog before proceeding with any transaction.
